‘Elderly and other Americans’ can’t have everything … if they’re happy to take the ‘good’ CHEAP labor … the maid, the gardener, the kitchen staff, the sweat shop worker, the fruit pickers etc who are paid well well below the award with none of the safeguards ‘American’ workers get, then you take the ‘bad’ and shut up!

70 Billion was the cost number for the illegal immigrants in CA. From the LA Times I might add. The problem with all these entitlements are the same attitudes from people on the dole around here and probably all over. Take away the entitlements and the cities will burn. The recipients consider it some kind of “right” they are due.

Crime will go up due to native born people. A lot of illegal immigrants have already gone home due to lack of jobs. The others are already working under the table so the recession doesn’t affect them as much since they already live poorly.
