How I Made Money From Home My First Day

The website said I could make extra money just by completing sponsor offers. Of course I thought, “yeah right this is just another scam. But, being a glutton for punishment I sent in my email address and requested more information.

I received the info in about 4 hrs. It was from a “freebie trader”. She told me that she would pay me $20 if I registered with one of her freebie sites also known as “Incentivezed freebie websites (IFW’s) and completed enough sponsor offers to reach 1 full credit. She sent me a link to view the offers to see if I thought I could complete enough to meet the requirements of the site (This is called “going green” or “greening”). I was still very skeptical, this sounded to easy, there must be a catch, it will cost me a fortune. Well as I said above, being a glutton for punishment, I said ok get me started. She had me sign up on one of the freebie forums she belonged to called “The Free Lunch Room” It was free to join and I couldn’t believe how many people were doing this and making some really nice extra cash. Now I was getting excited!

She set up my first trade in the forum trade manager and gave me her referral link to get to the IFW. She also sent me complete instructions on how to set up my browser, how to confirm the trade and how to successfully complete offers so I would get credit. I managed to meet the requirements of that site by completing 3 sponsor offers for a cost to me of $6. I informed her that I had “gone green” and she sent a $20 payment to my paypal account within the hour. She then sent me info on how to complete the trade in the forum trade manager. The entire process from the time she set up the trade until we completed the trade in trade manager was 2hr and 15mins of that 30mins was actual time I spent completing the IFW. I made a $14 profit in that short time, I WAS HOOKED!

I have been freebie trading now for just over two years and love every minute of it. I became a method 2 trader (A trader who pays others to complete IFW’s for them) after completing 5 trades.  To learn more visit my website at

Free is Not Good Enough

Why Nothing in Life is FREE

”Nothing in life is free.” That old saying rings true when it comes to offering online freebies. Even when you offer something FREE to consumers, that doesn’t mean there isn’t a “cost” behind that freebie.

Everyone is shaking up the Internet with freebies – sign up for this spectacular newsletter and receive a FREE SPECIAL report, whitepapers, or the latest and greatest trial sample.

Freebies don’t necessarily equate to “high value.” Have you ever tried a free sample and thought “Aw, no wonder they gave away that product for FREE!” It just wasn’t THAT great! You don’t want to be that kind of online marketer!

Sometimes the “buck stops there” – literally! Companies think they can blast out their freebies and consumers will automatically jump all over these freebies.

The Art of Persuasion

What makes YOUR freebie better than your competitors? With all the free offers floating around on cyberspace, you need to give people a GOOD REASON to sign up for your freebies.

How many times have you unsubscribed to newsletters because they were boring and didn’t offer relevant information? The last thing you want is to send worthless content to your subscribers.

”Time is money” and your visitors/customers don’t have a lot of free time on their hands. Monetary costs are just one aspect for consumers- what about the time it takes to READ your free content and marketing campaigns?

What can you do to PERSUADE people to actually WANT to read your content and actually USE your free samples?

It comes down to sales persuasion tactics!

Persuasion gives people the choice to make an informed decision – persuasion is not about manipulation or hype.

However, persuasion will only get you so far. Reel them in with free stuff BUT give people want they actually want. VALUABLE content is what makes people come back for MORE…and WHY people will buy your products and services!

o HOW will your free content SOLVE crucial problems for people?

o What VALUE do you offer them to make them WANT free information?

oHow will it CHANGE THEIR LIVES on a positive, long-term basis?

o Add URGENCY to your call to action – they NEED to read/try your content or product NOW. Give them every reason to take action immediately!

? SOCIAL PROOF – People will “jump on the bandwagon” and copy other people’s action (especially if they like and trust them). Use testimonials and endorsements. SHOW benefits that other people have experienced as a result of signing up for your free newsletter or report.

? VISUAL ELEMENTS – Use photos, music and videos as part of your freebie offers. People are visual creatures and you are more likely to really CAPTURE their attention through visual elements.

? SHOWCASE YOUR AUTHORITY/EXPERTISE – Show you’re an authority/expert in your field. Link to third party sites to back up your facts when offering free information (people will trust you even MORE!) Reference figures of authority (i.e. government/political officials, health leaders, etc.)

Free Ps3, Free Wii, Free Xbox 360 – No Credit Card or Referrals Required!

What are freebie sites? How do they work?

Freebie sites can afford to give expensive items like a Free PS3, a Free Wii, or a Free XBox 360 because advertisers, loaded with cash, pay them to do so! You’re never asked to pay for your gift…ever! However, in order for freebie sites to get something small in return, all they ask of you is to try the advertiser out for a bit. For example, there are tons of people who tried out Video Professor or Blockbuster (totally legit/popular companies) by signing up for their services. A lot of freebie participants have stayed with these big-name companies after their trial and continue to love their services, while others have chosen not to do so. Either path you choose, you are allowed and you will get credit. After all, advertisers pay freebie companies, who in turn reward you, to encourage you to join!

Many offers range from $3-7 for the trial period. These “pocket change” costs usually cover shipping and processing fees. However, there are also many totally…totally free offers too! On every freebie site these costs and the crediting time is mentioned so you can choose whatever you like (from lists up to 20-100 offers). This is step 2. Step 1 is simply signing up for the freebie site.

In the last step, the member then gets a couple of buddies to do the same process (as outlined in the “hot and cool freebies” section to the right) and they get credit when they do a simple “offer” (i.e. spend like 5-10 minutes signing up to an advertiser). For every person that tries an advertiser out, the advertisers pay freebie companies around $50-60… put it this money together and the freebie site buys your gift FOR you! Tax and shipping included.

Of course, at first glance anyone will think this is a scam or an illegitimate pyramid scheme. As a matter of truth, that’s what everyone else assumes before they understand how this system works and why it still exists – it’s perfectly legal and pretty darn easy to benefit off! This is a new form of marketing called “incentive viral marketing” – where companies reward you for trying them out. Think of the gift you receive as “cashback” or a rebate, if you like, from the advertiser TO you.

So, now that you understand how it works you might want to get started. To do that, just go to Google, enter the item you want and add “free” to the query. You’ll find hundreds of freebie sites. Pick one and then enjoy earning gifts/making money.

How can I start getting free stuff?

Visit the sites mentioned above to get started from legit freebie sites.

What to Look for When Getting Free Stuff Online

There is tons of great free stuff all over the internet. But there are also many freebies to be wary of. But how do you know if you are getting a legit freebie or not? Here are some things to look for when getting freebies online.

Cost associated with free stuff

Is there a cost involved? If you are getting something for free online then it should be free. If you have to pay than be weary. The only exception to this rule is that sometimes free stuff online will have a small shipping fee associated with it. In my opinion it is only worth it to pay a shipping fee if it is significantly less then the value of the freebie.

I would never pay a $5.00 shipping fee for a free sample of shampoo or anything like that. But I would consider paying a shipping fee on a freebie like free 250 customized business cards, b/c if shipping is a few bucks it is still well worth it.

Signing up with personal information for free stuff

Almost all online freebies will require you to give your email and a shipping address. You should not worry about this as your address is needed to ship the freebie to you. And I recommend creating a special email address for freebies so you don’t flood your normal email with junk mail. But be sure you dont give out any other personal info like credit card numbers etc.

Free trials

Many companies offer some really good free trials that are worth getting. But when signing up for free trials you have to make sure to cancel before the billing period starts, otherwise you may be charged. Make sure you make a note in your calendar for a few days before the trial period ends to make sure you cancel your trial offer. And you may end up liking the product or service in which case you might want to buy or subscribe to it. Just make sure that the free trial you sign up for is from a legitimate company. Do a Google search first.

Referral program freebies

There are many referral based marketing programs in which you can win free game systems, mp3 players, and other cool electronics. But in order to win them you have to complete a number of offers or refer a number of people. Some of these programs have good reputations, like Transcendent Innovations, who does free xbox 360, free Ipods, Free PS3s and much more. But there are also a lot of frauds out there.

Always do some research on the company before you sign up for anything. Also, be aware that these companies have strict Terms and Conditions and will not hesitate to deactivate you for even the slightest violation (even if you did not know it was a violation). I know from experience.

Free paying surveys

There are a lot of great free paying surveys out there where you can get real cash or gifts. There are even companies that you can sign up to and regularly do surveys for money. Again, do research before you sign up to any of these companies. And never sign up to a company that requires you to pay to be a member. There are companies that do this for free.

Free vacation packages

A lot of companies offer free vacation packages or other freebies that just seem too good to be true. That’s because they are. Stay away from any freebie that seems too good. There is almost always a catch involved. For example, last week I was offered a free 2 night vacation with paid airfare. I asked the lady who called me a number of times if there was any catch or if I had to make any payments down the road. She said no and assured me it was a free vacation package.

All I had to do was come to them and pick up my free tickets and listen to an hour pitch from some company. But I was still a bit skeptical so I Googled the company’s name who called me with the offer. Sure enough I found what I needed. Turns out the offer is a free vacation, but they don’t give you it for two consecutive nights, and they book you at a crummy discount hotel of their choice. Plus they try to sell you all this stuff you don’t want or need. Bottom line: stay away from anything that looks shady!

Now that you have some information on what to look for when getting freebies, you can hit the net and start searching for free stuff. Good luck!
